“I have been using Equity Trust for almost 7 years. I compared several self-directed custodians before deciding to move my money to them. They have been fantastic to deal with. The customer service reps have always been friendly and helpful in the transactions. While no two investments are the same and some may take more steps than others, I have not had any issues in finalizing the paperwork in a timely fashion.

The online bill pay is easy to use and expenses related to my real estate investments are always paid quickly for utilities, contractors, etc. It’s easy to compare the costs and fees between different custodians and I found Equity Trust’s fee schedule to be very reasonable. Always do your own research, but I believe you will find that Equity Trust stands above the rest.”

“Anyone wishing to set up a self-directed retirement investment account should seriously consider the capabilities of the Equity Trust Company. A friend who had set up an account with them shared his experience with me four years ago, which led me to set up a self-directed IRA account, and subsequently a self-directed Roth IRA account. While it takes time and focus to get the accounts set up, once the initial hassle is completed, doing transactions gets a lot easier.

I have done 6 self-directed investment transactions which I otherwise would not have been able to do and so far have been very pleased with the results, although at this time have only done purchases and no sales. I have no reason to believe the prompt and helpful service received on the front end of a transaction will be any different than the backend. I have recommended ET to at least 6 other friends and do so without any reservations. My name is Steve – and I wrote this message. ‘-) “
